Season 2 is here!
The upcoming season of the Sonic Michigan Podcast is shaping up to be one filled with winding shoreline roads, roaring waterfalls, and the kind of quiet moments that only the Great Lakes can offer. This year’s adventures begin with the breathtaking Lake Ontario Circle Tour, where scenic highways, charming lakeside towns, and endless water views create the perfect backdrop for storytelling and reflection. New episodes will drop every Tuesday morning.
One of the season’s highlights will be a deeper exploration of Hamilton, Ontario — a city that we learned is called the waterfall capital of Canada. Nestled between the Niagara Escarpment and Lake Ontario, Hamilton offers 100+ waterfalls! From hidden forest trails to dramatic cascades like Webster’s Falls and Albion Falls, inviting listeners to slow down and reconnect with the outdoors. We also stopped at the famous pink tunnel from Heated Rivalry!
Lake Huron will also play a major role throughout the season and a fall trip planned to Lake Superior. We’re hoping to see some of those huge fall waves, colorful forests, and dramatic northern landscapes - an entirely different mood. We hope that you will listen and remember that the natural world still has the power to calm the mind, inspire curiosity, and reconnect us to something larger than ourselves.
